Cabin on the Ranch
Open June through September
Relaxing private ranch tucked away in the heart of the Crazy Mountains. Enjoy access to forest service and endless fishing, all within walking distance. We are 18 miles out of Wilsall, 48 miles to Livingston, and 56 miles to Bozeman. This is a perfect getaway place for guests looking to experience the outdoor life while being in a cozy cabin.
The space
The cabin was built in the 1940s. This A-Frame cabin has spectacular views of the Crazy Mountains, a 15-acre fishing pond just down the driveway, and minutes away from forest service access.
Guest access
Guests have access to private access to forest service trails as well as fishing Shields River and a private stocked pond.
Other things to note
There is no cell phone service at the cabin. Most smartphones have a wifi calling option you can utilize. I suggest turning on the wifi calling tab and getting it set up before you arrive. Groceries are located 18 miles from the cabin so please consider bringing them with you.
You may use fishing poles and tackle if needed. There are extra life jackets in the hall closet for young children.
Games can be found in the living room cabinet as well as in the checker table.
